Yesterday I mentioned my Vox account, and I realize I haven't updated it in the last week even though I've said I'm never quiet over there. I've been holding off on reviewing what I'm currently reading, which is Neal Stephenson's Baroque Cycle - 2617 pages of dense prose written in annoyingly tiny print. I've just started the third volume, which houses the final 800 or so pages, and I'm very eager to be done with it and move on to other books. Not that I'm not enjoying them, but things have started slipping out of the pages and into my life - last night I dreamed about Isaac Newton and Gottfried Leibniz arguing with each other, while I stood in the middle of them. I thought I'd hit the ceiling of dream nerdiness thanks to my semi-frequent video game dreams, but THIS takes the cake.
