Today was my last first day of school ever. I filled out my application for graduation today. Very surreal.

When the big day comes, don't invite your mother to see you "walk" and then oversleep the ceremony completely because you were spending the night before doing dodgy things well into the night.

We (not same "other" as now) actually had to collect my mother from the audience and treat her to breakfast.

A little of both, Tara, but the bittersweetness comes from the, "What? A job? Can't they just keep giving me loans? I'll keep reading textbooks if they'll just give me more loans" bit.
