11/09/2006: "Confessions of a shopaholic"

Song of the Day: Kristy Thirsk - In the Dream

I have superpowers. I can walk into Old Navy with the intention of buying one sweater and walk out with two sweaters and five long sleeved graphic tees.

This superpower is definitely not as useful as flying or x-ray vision.

It is if you can do it without paying anything.

I agree. I went to Abercombie and Fitch once and looked around, shocked at how expensive everything was, for the "ratted-out" look.

I left without buying anything, but mysteriously, I still spent money there.

I just stood there with my receipt sadly confused.

I'd like to note that Jeff has NEVER owned anything from A&F because if he did he would be so close to a frat boy that I think he might shoot himself.

LOL, Amy...did frat guys at our school wear A&F? Whenever I think of that store, I think of all the guys I went to high school with.

It's amazing how much this woman knows me.

Jeff, Monday, November 13th

We must share similar powers. I seem to walk out of every store with more than I planned to leave with.
