08/06/2006: "Creepy"

Song of the Day: Tina Cousins - Forever

Things like this convince me that J and I are of one mind, body, and soul:

After not talking to her at all today, I picked up my phone just now to text message her asking how the Tool concert is. As I flip it open and began scrolling for her name, the phone begins vibrating as she text messages me with an "IEIEIE Tool!" message.

If the last 10 years hadn't been filled with all sorts of moments just like this, I'd be a little creeped out. Now, I just scream our often-used phrase, "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" and figure there's a reason why, when I was 13-years-old, I picked some random person out in California to be my best friend. If there's one good thing about the internet, it lets you find those people you're meant to be with that you'd never have found otherwise.

The internet is also good for hooking up with 13 year old boys posing as 22 year old women.

Is there something I need to tell Amy, Jeff? :D

Re:Mindmeld--That has happened to me 3+ times in the last 3 or so days. Ric is in NY. I've had the weird phone coincidence like that from him, his mom, and his dad. It is so incredibly weird, I'm almost creeped out. Also, since I'm all alone, I'm going to leave you a long msg. Like every time I've thought of doing something naughty, like taking another tequila shot, the cell phone suddenly lights up and it's Ric, or if I've already done something naughty it's his mom checking on me, and I'm like, no, I'm totally sober, what? Btw, I'm so not sober. Ric should not have left the tequila.

Also, on your recommendation, the other day I watched Drop Dead Gorgeous...and it turns out I had already seen it. I hate when that happens, but it turns out I not only remembered liking it the first time around, but I liked it this time too, so thanks!

Have you seen D.E.B.S.? I got that right after, thinking it'd be totally stupid, and while it wasn't exactly intelligent, it was sort of cute.

Last night I watched Legally Blonde on TBS and thought of both you and J. I <3 that movie everso.

Ok, so that's 6 tequila shots and @ 12 a.m., I'm ready to go to bed. I have no idea what I've just said, so pls don't to be holding me responsible. Kthx.

OH YEAH. Cassie sends a note that LJS is wondering about fan interest in the Original Vampire Diaries Series, i.e., the intact version the YA editors wouldn't allow. So cross your fingers whether you liked the series or not; the adult version will most certainly be beyond RAWR.

Tara, Monday, August 7th

The only bad thing about that news is that Cassie reckons she's special and that important people actually talk to her, whereas she's really a woman in her late 30s pretending to be a woman in her early 20s while having skanky baseball player orgies.

But I'll cross my fingers, because I'm all for trashy YA vampire novels being turned into trashy adult vampire novels!!

Well, remember, we're not REAL friends. :D My name is Harold, don't you remember? But you can call me Harry.

I would like to say for the record that I do not try to hook up with 13 year old boys over the anonymous internet.

On purpose.

With the angle of the picture, he totally looked like a chick.

Fuckin' MySpace pictures.
