01/08/2006: "Bath and Body Works owns my soul"

Song of the Day: Tina Cousins - Forever

I've made a point to stay away from the gigantic Bath and Body Works sale, since I always have bath, shower, and lotion products coming out of my ears, and I really didn't need any more. Then I discovered that three of the Tutti Dolci lip glosses were marked down from $10 to $2.50. My resolve to stay away went right out the window.

As I made my purchases today, my resolve to limit the number of such products that I own also went out the window. There's just too much stuff out there that's beyond heavenly to not sample it all. Aside from the three lip glosses (in Apple Torte, Tiramisu Veneziano, and Amaretti) I also picked up a Tutti Dolci moisturizing souffle in their Creme Brulee scent, a thick body moisturizer in a tamarind nectar scent, as well as an in-the-shower moisturizer in the same scent. I just used the in-the-shower one, which works like hair conditioner does (put it on, let it sit, and then rinse), and damn does my skin feel awesome right now.

The best part was that I got all of that for what I would have spent on the three lipglosses had they still been fully-priced. Thank the lord for sales!

You couls have more money if you just took the stuff that's coming out of your ears and sold it. Well, clean off all the wax first. Hello? Can you hear me?

Oooh, I'm also a huge fan of Bath and Body Works. I can't leave that store without buying something- if there's a sale, that is. I've been curious about the Tutti Dolci stuff, and because of what you say, I just might buy that body souffle stuff next time I'm in that store.
