12/16/2005: "High school wimps"

Song of the Day: Benassi Bros feat. Dhany - Make Me Feel (Sfaction Mix)

High schoolers are frickin' wimps. Apparently high school students are complaining about "feeling the burden" of the 3 hour and 45 minute SATs, and the College Board has decided it might break it into separate sections.

This news comes after I've taken two 3 1/2 hour tests in the last four days, and am about to plow into the third (and final) one tomorrow (yes, tomorrow is Saturday. I bet high school wimps would complain about that too). A few of my finals last year were even 4 hours long, and I used every second of that time.

Precious high school students, you're so...cute. Don't ever go to law school. Kthxbai.

HA! That is classic. I think you've actually given them too much credit by calling them wimps. It should be more like "lazy good-for-nothing slackers."

These little punks would love the USMLE Step 2 Medical Licensing Exam. HALF of the test is administered in a continuous nine hour testing session. I never thought I'd make it through that damn thing.

A friend of mine who wanted to go into optometry had to go through not one, but SEVEN exams for SEVEN DAYS in a row. I don't remember how long each test was, but damn! And I thought the GREs were bad! And those brats are bitching about the SATs???
