My apartment building turned off the air conditioning and turned on the heat a few days ago.
It has been in the 80s for the last few days.
Yeah, it's been fun. I've been in the crankiest mood, which entails shouting obscenities at inanimate objects in my apartment. I've been taking two showers a day, but that hasn't really hasn't helped much at all. All my windows are open, but it's the same temperature outside as it is in here. The management office sent out a letter to all the residents today saying they're sorry, but it's a very complicated process to switch from A/C to heat and they won't be able to make any changes for us.
It's supposed to cool off by the end of the week; the management office better pray that it does, otherwise I'm going to be marching up there and blowtorching somebody.

I suggest using a small blow torch. Precision scortching is just as painful as widespread melting of skin and flesh, but they won't go into shock and die as quickly, allowing you to make them suffer longer.DPearl, Tuesday, October 4th
