I have one weakness that I don't feel guilty about: I'm a total sucker for buying things that benefit breast cancer research. Breast cancer is an issue that's more than a little close to home for me, and I always find myself dropping money without blinking whenever companies promise to donate a certain amount if you buy something from them.
Sephora and Clinique are two makeup companies I love that never fail to join the charitable cause, and right now I'm trying to decide what I'm going to buy. Sephora has a whole page of items to choose from, and they donate 100% of the net proceeds from their assortments of mini products. Clinique has a shimmery all-over powder that's tempting as well.
Tons of companies will be having their own charitable items since October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so keep your eye out for the chance to buy something that benefits an important cause.

I'll have to suggest running an event to the Browncoats group I'm a part of up here. (Well, actually, over here, since we're at nearly the same latitude, heh) We're always doing charity events and I'm sure they'd be happy to do one for breast cancer charities.DPearl, Sunday, September 25th

I saw something in my new issue of Vogue that relates to this post- Saks Fifth Avenue made a shirt for 'Key to the Cure' as they are titling it.
