The latest gossip in the music industry is that Jennifer Lopez stole the horn arrangement and some lyrics in her newest single from Usher.

I gotta say, what? Has anyone heard J.Lo's new song? The horns blaring in the background rank among some of the most annoying, ear-splitting, headache-causing sounds I've heard in a long while. People are fighting over who gets to use this sound effect?

I'm going to head back to my non-Top-40 music now. Call me if the radio ever starts playing something decent.

i love how they say she stole it, like she dressed up as a ninja, went to his house and took the instrumental.

the only person here at fault is the producer and really even though, if usher decided he didn't want the song, why is he bitching now?

Not that I'm accusing Usher of anything, but don't most R&B and hip hop artists just "borrow" and "sample" music from other people's stuff anyways? Think of P.Diddy.

Those are both good points, and I think Usher's main concern is probably $$$. I don't even know if he'd be the one to get compensated though; does he actually write his own lyrics and arrange the background music himself?
