10/11/2003: "Weekend update"
So it's been a week since I last posted, and I haven't gotten any further with the new layout. In fact, I took a step backwards and trashed what I was working on. It'll happen, eventually.
My grandmother had a masectonomy on Thursday, which had me scared to death. However, when I went to visit her at the hospital Thursday night, she was awake and talking (although she says she wasn't responsible for what she said, because she suspected she was saying funny things while she was still woozy), she was back home 24 hours after the surgery, and today she's up and walking all over her house like she didn't just have major surgery. I'm completely astounded that an 80-year-old can bounce back that fast.
