My girl Lauren is a genius. Want to get someone to do what you want them to do when they're fighting you about it?
Simply say, "Fine then, DON'T [enter activity here]." Be a little snooty about it. They'll immediately want to defy you so they'll do exactly what you were trying to get them to do in the first place.
The same works with getting someone to NOT do something.
"Fine then, HAVE your party the night before your exam."
This generally only works with morons, but chances are only morons will be arguing with you over stupid things.
