08/28/2003: "Not all CJ majors are intelligent future-law-students..."
So today in my Juvenile Justice System class, the prof asked people to share why they were interested in taking the class and learning about juvenile deliquency and the juvie court system. This one guy next to me raised his hand and said,
"When I was a kid, I was a juvenile."
No, I'm not kidding. It took every ounce of willpower to not burst out laughing at him. He's older than most college students (I'd peg him at around 26 or so), I've had many other classes with him, but he never graced my ears with such a gem before this.
In other hilarious news, according to my sex class textbook (written by the elderly woman professor who teaches the class), Kellogg's Cornflakes and graham crackers were both created to curb sexual desire, since it used to be considered hazardous to your health to be horny.
If life keeps going as it has been, I'm not gonna hit a blogging dry-spell for a long time.

IT'S TRUE!!! They made a movie about it in the early 90s/late 80s with like Matthew Broderick and I think Bridget Fonda. I can't remember what it was called, though.Tara, Friday, August 29th
