04/06/2003: "Bundy Day"

My bedtime story tonight is Ann Rule's book about Ted Bundy. For those of you who don't know, Ann Rule was a crime writer who covered police investigations for true crime reports, and she was friends with Ted for many years before he started killing. She was the writer on the investigation when the girls started disappearing, and then found out it was her dear old friend who was killing them. Ouch.

Despite my choice of bedtime story, I'm not really that morbid. I have to write a report on this book by a week from Tuesday. I guess I'm just morbid enough to take a serial killer class. Next semester I'm taking an English class about vampires in literature, just to prove to people that I'm not creepy or anything.

Here's a tip for all male specimen: Asking a girl, "Will you go on a date with me? I only ask because I'm bored," will not entice a girl to fly out to California and let you touch her wrists, and only invites snarky responses. (Ha ha, no, nothing is sacred.)
