01/12/2003: "Am I a nerd?"
Am I a nerd if I'm looking forward to classes starting? I always enjoy the first day of class when you find out what it's going to be like. And when you decide which ones you can skip. ;)
My dislike of buying textbooks still stands. It just seems to me that if I'm going to spend $500, I should get something more than 35 pounds of not-fun books. I'm hoping tomorrow's books shopping doesn't leave me wanting to shoot myself.
Lastly, I need a boyfriend, if only so that I can have someone strong and muscular to help me carry my luggage inside.

No. You're not a nerd. I think I have about 10 textbooks for this quarter. One of them is actually interesting, and I'm thinking of changing my major, or at least taking on a minor in political science...but then again, I don't want to go on the same route as my father and end up working at Merrill Lynch, even though that wouldn't be bad... but we'll see.
