01/05/2003: "Changes"
It may seem like I've been neglecting the site, but I've been working on a brand spankin' new layout for the past few days. Things like real life and chats in Tara's chat room have prevented me from finishing it as quickly as I want to.
The other day I got this crazy idea that I wanted to start painting again. I took two painting classes my senior year of high school and absolutely loved it, despite the fact that I am very certain that I suck at it. So I hauled butt over to an arts supply store and bought ten tubes of paint, three new brushes, and a new pallete, since all my old supplies disappeared over the last two years. I also got a pre-made canvas, which is quite a novelty since I always had to stretch and gesso my own for class. I haven't started the actual painting part yet, but I will as soon as I finish the new webpage layout.
I actually took five art classes my senior year of highschool - advanced photography, painting, advanced painting, graphics, and computer graphics. And people wonder why I always said I could have skipped my entire senior year and gone straight to college. My whole goal was to not take a science class and to take slack-off classes that the typical morons that I always disliked wouldn't take. Unfortunately, the morons all decided to take art classes too. Some of them ended up in a ceramics class that Shannon often sat through to work on her AP Art stuff, and she says that they smashed their final projects together and shattered them and started hooting and cheering -- until the teacher told them she hadn't graded them yet. *snickers* Yeah, I really miss those boys. (Sense the sarcasm?)

Hey there... Like the new layout (although I kinda agree with Lindsay on the boob thing) and yeah.. Travis Foegler and what's his face were stupid, but amusing in that ceramics class. It always drove Freddie over the edge- which could be good and bad. I considered it good because then she was always less mad at us. :)Shannon, Tuesday, January 14th
