12/20/2002: "Home at last"
So I come home today, and all the hamsters are gone (except the two I'm keeping) and there's a chinchilla in their place. People who know me well know it's pretty common for me to come home from school to find a strange new animal residing in the house. The chinchilla's pretty damn cute, he looks like an overgrown hamster. He's a newborn, and if you get them wet, they lose all their hair. Or so my sister says. You clean them by putting them in a container with volcanic stuff in it, and they roll around in it. Yeah, so home is pretty interesting.
I spent over $500 on books this semester, and I got $137 back. At least it's something.
