12/04/2002: "Burning out"

So far this week, I've written 16 pages in papers. I now have one left, and (I think) it's supposed to be 8 pages long. Luckily it's not due until Monday, and I have a 6 page annotated bibliography to work from, so that means I can spend the rest of the week doing NOTHING.

I really am burned out. I am so sick of school and papers and reading textbooks. I'm spending all of winter break doing nothing except reading real books and playing video games. And sleeping. Even though I do enough of that now, but at home I have flannel sheets and five pound yorkshire terrier who snuggles with me.

On a happy note, I had a facial today and I have an hour-long massage scheduled for exam week. It's always so funny when I have facials done by women who are in their 60s. They're always so bossy and know-it-all. My favorite facials come from The Spa School in Columbus; two hours long, includes arm massages and parafin wax treatments, and it hardly costs anything at all.
